Buried at Gooda Creek 1 Dec 1876 ------------------------------------- (e) Location: Wombat Street, Gunning (on the site of the sewage works) 'Sacred to the memory of Henry Dunckey who was cruelly and barbarously murdered by his wife and manservant on 13th Sept 1842 aged 40 years in the prime of his life he was cut down by a treacherous woman's hand. Ours hearts the mournful tribute pay, which pity must demand. Served in the South African Campaign 1900-1901.
